Malaysia Fest- September
For the period of two weeks, all the major hotels and shopping complexes join hands to feature the culture, cuisine and handicrafts of the various states in Malaysia. The country celebrates it's independence on 31 August with parades and shows. Towns and cities throughout Malaysia will be gaily decorated and adorned with lights for the grand occasion.

Deepavali – November
The "Festival of Lights" is a celebration which marks the victory of good over evil. Hindus celebrate this festival of lights by decorating their homes with oil lamps, taking a ritual morning bath and offering ceremonial prayers in temples. During this festival, Hindu homes are emblazoned with lights to signify this triumph.

Hari Raya Aidilfitri – November
Hari Raya Aidilfitriis celebrated after the holy month of Ramadan ends and the month’s long fasting ends. Special morning prayers are held in mosques and visits are made to homes of friends and relatives. Muslims usher in the New Year with prayers in the mosques followed by receiving well-wishers in their homes.

Christmas - 25 December
Christmas festival is celebrated by Malaysian Christians like the people around the world. Midnight services are held at churches on Christmas Eve. Shopping centers, hotels, old folks homes and children's homes echo with beautiful carols. Family dinners are held along with exchanging of gifts. The revelry and yuletide spirit of Christmas is enjoyed by Christians and non-Christians alike.

Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival- March, August and December
This is one of the most popular of the Malaysia events among the locals as well as the tourists providing with wonderful opportunities to satisfy ones’ every pleasure in Malaysia's month-long shopping carnivals in Kuala Lumpur and other urban centers in the country. This is the best time to shop and pick up stuff you always desired at fantastic discounts and unbelievable bargains. The sale is on at the various shopping centers, emporiums, retail outlets as well as exclusive boutiques. Malaysian states also join in showcase their traditional art and culture.
